PSUV congress assesses selection of candidates for parliamentary elections
Since the Venezuelan Planning School, located in the La Rinconada in Caracas, the first vice president of the PSUV, Cilia Flores, explained that the delegates were appointed liaison with the political work teams of each entity in the country.
He added that these delegates were immediately incorporated into the national leadership of Congress to work well together document that will go to plenary for approval, and which shall specify the methodology for selecting candidates.
"Delegates and members of Congress left internal elections of the first degree, so now it is up to all of us choose to define a methodology, considering that it will of leaders elected by the party base," he said.
President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, addressed this issue during his Sunday program Alo Presidente, number 350, transmitted from the Miraflores Palace in Caracas.
"Whatever the method defined for the nominations of parliamentary elections, I hope that nobody feels embarrassed by the selection and quit throwing stones having (...) The real awareness of the role it plays in this process, a role that goes beyond ourselves, that does not behave well, "said the Head of State.
The President also reported plans in the coming days hold a meeting with the revolutionary youth, facing the celebration of Youth Day on 12 February.
