Rangel denounced former President Failure to U.S. military base in Aruba map

Caracas, 31 - RBV.info .- Former Venezuelan Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel warned Sunday that the United States wiped off the map of the island of Aruba Netherlands, a military base their property, having been denounced before international bodies.

"In the map of that island was a military base, but after the complaint in a new version of the installation graph miraculously disappeared," complains the journalist in his television program, Jose Vicente today.


Latina that Rangel outlined in Aruba confirmed the presence of a U.S. military base "very active, especially in spying on Venezuela and with very sophisticated equipment."

This complaint is linked to an accusation to make the president of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez Frías, on 8 January, against the governments of Netherlands and the United States, for the incursion into Venezuelan airspace on a U.S. plane from Curacao, Antilles Holland.

'We accuse the governments of Netherlands and the United States to be launching provocative actions against Venezuela to find an excuse for aggression, "Chavez denounced during the first Council of Ministers 2010.

For its part, the then executive vice president Ramon Carrizález reaffirmed the violation of national airspace and made public the elements and evidence of the incursion.

At the same time, he recalled that on 17 May 2009 a U.S. warplane violated Venezuelan airspace and flew over the Naval Air Station Orchilla.
