President Chavez announced revolutionary celebration dates in February
During transmission of Alo, Chairman No. 350, the Head of State said Monday 1 February will be held in Cua, Miranda state, events in honor of General Ezequiel Zamora, who was born in this population on 1 February 1817, in full war of independence from Spanish rule.
Urged to join this celebration, and remember the reason for Zamora, "in that circumstance was born, why conservative revolt against the oligarchy, led by José Antonio Páez ', among other political and revolutionary thinking.
He announced that on Tuesday, 2 February is celebrated across the country, the Bolivarian government of 11 years, "emerged from the popular will of the streets."
He summoned the governors, governors, mayors, leaders of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), community leaders, peasants, students and workers to join in this celebration throughout the country.
He said Feb. 2 in the afternoon, will also perform the swearing-in ceremony of the first Vice President, Elias Jaua Milano.
Similarly, specified that on February 3 will be carried out various acts in various states, and in Quito, Ecuador, to commemorate the birth of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Antonio José de Sucre, who was born in 1795, in Cumana, Sucre state, Venezuela.
He added that on February 4 will mark another year of the civic-military union in 1992 with an event at the Main Courtyard of the Military Academy of Venezuela in Fort Tiuna, Caracas.
He said that during this act, and in the presence of the troops carried out the act of swearing defense minister, Carlos Mata Figueroa, as well as holding various special events throughout the country.
President of the Republic, Hugo Chávez, said he is planning to conduct a meeting with youth leaders and revolutionaries, the 6 February, and then doing a big celebration is expected to take place on 12 February.
