President Chavez challenges the opposition to do a recall
"Organize the people and their followers, do committees collect signatures and go to the National Electoral Council (CNE) to request the recall and if they do, with no dead, no terrorism unleashed, I'm leaving," he said.
Such call was made during his Sunday program Alo Presidente, number 350, transmitted from the Hall Joaquín Crespo, the Palace of Miraflores.
"Someone who meets the opposition of many pundits that there, why not call the recall referendum, the challenge to at least one answer, why have not already done if the conditions are ripe, already fulfilled the first half this mandate, "he reiterated.
The President made the call because of the ongoing campaign launched by the opposition saying "Chavez is Ponchao, he's finished," among others.
"By way of guarimba they could achieve is a deepening of the revolution because the people will not be withdrawn," he concluded.
