Zelaya Venezuelan air travel today to Nicaragua

05:04 PM San Jose .- The president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, who is in Costa Rica after being expelled by force from his country, will travel today to Nicaragua on a plane
supplied by Venezuela, as confirmed by the Government of Costa Rica.
Zelaya was also dismissed by the Congress of his country by "repeated violations" of the Constitution, and instead, the Legislature appointed the president of Parliament, Roberto Micheletti, as interim president despite not having official recognition of any nation so far, Efe reported.
Zelaya has reiterated that he is the legitimate president of Honduras, "because it was democratically elected and that his intention is to return to their country with the support of American democratic governments.
Costa Rican Foreign Minister Bruno Stagno, from Nicaragua confirmed that Zelaya will attend today in the evening to an emergency meeting of Central American Integration System (SICA) in Managua.
Deputy Security of Costa Rica, Jose Torres, told the local press that the Government of Venezuela has sent a plane to Costa Rica to pick up and take him to Nicaragua Zelaya this afternoon, but did not detail when they depart.
"The Venezuelan government sent a plane to Costa Rica to take the president to Managua Zelaya," said Torres.
Arias and Zelaya had originally announced that this would pass the night in a hotel in San Jose tomorrow and travel together to Nicaragua, but with the convening of the emergency summit, the plans have changed.
Arias did not detail if you go to Managua today or tomorrow, but made a strong condemnation of the coup and stressed that the legitimate president of Honduras is Zelaya.
